Welcome to the Official Website of the Hanover Area Youth Hockey Organization and the Hanover Storm Ice Hockey Team!

Hanover Hockey is a non-profit, recreational youth hockey club for kids who would like to play - or learn how to play - Ice Hockey, open to all youth residents (ages 5-16) of Hanover, East Hanover, Whippany, Cedar Knolls, Florham Park, and surrounding towns with no "in-town" ice hockey program avaialble in New Jersey.

Our teams play in the Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam divisions of the Morris County Youth Hockey League ("MCYHL"), a non-profit association and the governing body serving the youth recreational hockey teams & towns in the Morris County area.  Over 2000 of the county's youth participate in programs run by the MCYHL Association.

Feel free to check out schedules, standings and scores for the teams in the Morris County Youth Hockey League at www.mcyhl.net.

Anyone interested in supporting the program during the upcoming 2017-18 season is encouraged to contact us.

This is a great opportunity for those of you who may have thought about helping so that our kids can continue to play the game. Please remember that Hanover is an entirely volunteer organization, and we simply cannot thrive without the help and support of our neighbors and community.

Here are just a few of the areas where help is needed:

  • Fundraising - Non-Board Members - helps to find ways that our organization could raise funds to help pay for ice and other expenses.
  • Team Managers - Non-Board Members

Meetings are typically held monthly. Please reach out to any Board Member to learn more - we are trying to help build a great team of parents that can help grow the organization toward a successful 2017-18 season and beyond!
